Question for Ollie Strong
I spoke today with Floyd Sillito who recorded a vinyl record album with the band Royce Riehl and the Country Cousins at ARC studio in Toronto in about 1965.

He said that there were more than 2 microphones in the studio, that there was a sound check for each song prior to recording so that the balances between microphones could be adjusted for the instrumentation that changed from song to song. This album was recorded in one day.
I know that you did an album with Kenny Hepburn at about that same time at ARC studio. Do you have any stories about ARC studio, and the recording process in that studio at that time period?

Thanks Jack. If you remember, let him know about the forum question the next time you see him.
I last spoke with him by phone when he was in Southern Ontario, when I was trying to track down another ARC steel playing recording artist named Jack Mooney, who I subsequently found out had just passed away.
