nice article !

Folks should also keep in mind that most music today is uploaded to some sort of streaming site. Those streaming sites, make that ALL streaming sites, convert to an MP3 format where the max hi freq is 16K.

So when mixing this needs to be taken into consideration. A good EQ for a stream is somewhere in tho 80 hz to 16 K , so mixing for internet or download sites is a different EQ than a retail CD.

And always UPLOAD A WAV file to the internet stream sites, let it be converted from a WAV rather than an MP3.
