Fuzzy Excel Eight String
I'm the new owner of a Fuzzy Excel Eight String PSG. Tuned top eight of E9 Three of the six pedals connected A,B and C. Three more pedals in a bag complete with all fittings.
Anyone out there have a similar model?
I'd like to reconnect the other three pedals but I need advice on what they should be doing. They were connected once as the undercarriage is marked one to six.
Also, the nylon tuning nuts are just round tubes, could anyone sell me a dozen proper shaped nuts (and post to Ireland)?
Thanks in advance!

Hey Tony,
before you source new tuning nuts, please note the Excel/Fuzzy nylon nuts are tuned with an Allen wrench, they are inverted, the hex shape is on the inside, not on the outside.
Congrats on your new steel!

Hi Ollie... Thanks for the good wishes, also the Allen key tip. Of course! I couldn't understand why the tuning nuts had no flats, I'd still be sitting at the table wondering if not for you...
Kind Regards from Ireland, Tony

I have a newer Superb II (EX Star) and an older Superb, both D10s. The tuning nuts have inside hex and outside heX, so you can use both tools. You might email Mitsu and see if you can replace all the nylon tuners on your instrument.
There is another builder from Japan and he is supporting Excel as he is a past employe. He probably has the same tuner nylon tuners.

Re: Fuzzy Excel Eight String
I worked for Fuzzy/Excel for thirteen years, and last year I became independent and launched my own brand.
I also accept repair inquiries for Excel guitars.
Excel used two types of nylon tuning nuts over the years: a round tube type and a hexagonal type.
Both versions have a 2.5 mm hex socket machined into them so that a hex wrench can be inserted.
Mitsuo frequently changed the specifications of the guitars, and the length of the nylon tuning nuts varied depending on the era. If you can provide the length you need, I can manufacture new nuts for you.
If you’re interested, I would be grateful if you could contact me through my website.
